Yes I read the cruise control thread on this forum, but I never saw an answer. I just bought my Yaris last week end and it does not have cruise control. I really would like to add cruise.
I did a little research here and took a picture of my column.

From what I read, all I need is the factory handle, is that right?????

Correct. You have the blue wire all the way to the steering column, so you are all set.

I sincerely thank you for taking the time to respond. It is appreciated
I'd go to the Toyota dealer today, but the parts department is already closed.

No problem. As a side note, if you are buying the Cruise stalk from the dealer, you will also need to get the wire that connects it to the spiral cable.
The part number is:84633-42030

Does your Yaris have the power package?

No it does not. It is a 2010 Yaris with the Convenience Package and it has an automatic transmission

I just wanna say that the cruise control DOES work. I did run into one minor thing. I got my cruise switch from E-Bay and it came with the connector wire.
The problem is that the connector wire does NOT have the horn wire in it. I simply (very carefully) cut the original horn plug and removed the horn wire and pin. Again, I was very careful, I did not want to damage the pin.

Again, it works.
