anyone done a VVTi install??? need particulars and etc.. its hard to tell what connects it
and if it has some hardware connection to the cam gear.....

this is from a celica but I think is the same... there is some issue about these getting
locked in the wrong position....
I still need some pro pics and advice on how this works...

A few people have broken the camshaft timing oil control valve when changing the serpentine belt. None mentioned an issue with it after replacing it. The service manual is download-able in the DIY section of the forum. Replacement of the OCV is discussed in the Engine Control System section.

i got mine off, put 12v to it and it works.... I,m not going any further with it....just run it until it dies..
