WHAT: Sacramento NorCal Meet. Kaotic and I have decided on a eat and cruise meet. Originally we thought of going to a drive-through movie and hogging up the space w/ our cars...but that might be late for most of us....So eating and then cruising through Salmon Falls (1 hour away from Kaotic's place, so he says....)
BUT before the cruise, a great thank you in advance goes out to Clark (MiniTRD) for hosting us/our cars so, "we can also do some mods, repairs, maintenance etc. if needed and time permitting. I have a some fairly welled stocked tool chests, so unless it's a specialty tool, I should have it." - MiniTRD~~

Can we change that date? I have a mandatory ropes course I have to attend that day for my RPTA class. If I don't attend, I fail the class. Just found this out today. I also have to attend an aquatic center event on April 17. So that's $40 and $10 that I HAVE to spend. Arrgh! So much for saving up for a sway bar. My schedule will become more clear within the next two weeks.

Also, on this cruise, please drive cautiously. It'll be during the day, so I'm sure there'll be other cars on the road, and even though it doesn't look crazy, I've seen some crashes (posted on other forums).

We can eat at this burger joint down the street from where I live (we can also meet there). It's called Jasper's Burger. It's pretty good. What do you guys feel like eating? There's tons of places near by. I think we should eat first, then do the cruise.

Yo, Shawn, I think you'll enjoy the road. I personally haven't been on it yet, but the video shows how fun it looks. That bridge would provide a nice background for your photoshoot :wink:

Just don't try to impress anyone and drive like an idiot and you'll be fine. I've driven it many times, it's a blast, especially uphill in 3rd. :smile:

510Ryder, last time i went up that far is was to Roseville, and it took 1:30-2:00 hours to get there from leaving late in the evening...I was doing 80mph constantly..lol

I will be leaving around 10:15-10:30am...not too early and perfect traffic flow~
I will caravan with whomever wants to leave around that time...most likely advocate, ezhacker1, or someone else..

If the majority is down with this time, we can all roll together in one formation up there with people who bring a buddy with them, taking pictures of us in formation passing by each other :)

Do some hydro-therapy. Jump in the shower, put it to the hottest temp that you can tolerate. Stand in the shower for 30 seconds to a minute, then switch it to the coldest. Again, remain in it for 30 seconds to a minute. Repeat this hot and cold cycle for about 5 minutes at the beginning of your shower, and 5 minutes at the end. Works great for me.

I see you're point Garm, but at the same time I have always believed in keeping people happy and not force anything on anyone. If one half has a strong desire for asian food and the other doesn't, then so be it; a split eating group. I'd rather not see someone trying to gulp down something they didn't want to eat, or didn't want to eat THAT day, then everyone's stomach be satisfied w/ what they came to eat.

If you want to meet the Bay Area crew at Clark's house BEFORE rolling to In N Out, you need to be at Clark's house when the Bay Area crew arrives, so BEFORE 1PM.


The Bay Area crew will be going: Bay Area -> Clark's BEFORE 1PM & In N Out -> In N Out -> Cruise -> Clark's House

Nor Calers can go to Clark's EARLY BEFORE 1PM and roll with the Bay Area crew to In N Out, or go STRAIGHT TO In N Out and be there by 1PM.



Some notes:
1) No matter what route you take, be at In N Out by 1PM
2) If you wanna show up early and hang out at Clark's, you're more than welcome to. Clark has offered to help with mods and anything else you can think of. There will also be various Yaris World members meeting early at Clark's before going to In N Out as well you can hang out with. It takes 20 minutes to get from Clark's house to In N Out which means you need to be at Clark's house at 12:40PM OR EARLIER. EARLIER PREFERRED.
3) After In N Out, we are cruising Salmon Falls
4) After cruising Salmon Falls, we will meet back at Clark's house to hang out some more before we go our separate ways back home.

Wow ... now i really wish I had cleaned her before :( But sounds awesome - I drive salmon falls to auburn almost 2 times each month... pretty awesome to live so close to nice roads... Looking forward to the pics...

i think this meet turned out way...better than expected. New faces came in, everyone was really laid back and cool. Have to do more of these kind of meets. Thank you everyone for making this meet happen..wasnt sure at first when talking with Laz, but it became hella good. Clark, thanks muchos for letting Advocate and I make that hole for the PTS switch..even though it kinda went downhill haha.
