I've always thought the second one looked great on the Vitz! Fitment is good for our cars, but it is a rather heavy 17" wheel.

Slites looks better IMO but personally I'd pay for neither.

I agree that the 17's look great, especially on our cars, but the "holes" are significantly lighter, and you'll appreciate that in both acceleration and MPG.
Of course, this is coming from a guy who runs 17x7's w/ 215/40/17's, which are definitely NOT light.
My track wheels are about 10 pounds lighter, and the difference is amazing.

Just bought a set of R81's. they weigh 12lbs. Custom machined polycarbonate rings for another $100 and you can use stock tires.

Good point on the rings - The mini wheels hub is larger than ours and the lug holes are huge in comparison to ours, so you really need to use hubcentric rings or special lugcentric lug nuts with them.

That's cool that you had some rings machined - When I bought my 5 spoke mine wheels I looked everywhere for hubcentric rings, but couldn't find any of the correct size. I ended up using lugcentric lug nuts that I found at Jegs:

Honestly I think the R81's would look better on the car. And tires for 15's, even if they're low-pro's, are gonna be cheaper then tires for the 17's.

I vote R81's also. I almost picked up a set (local guy in MO is selling some on CL), but I went with Rota slips instead... but for the weight, you can't go wrong. 12lb is light for an OEM wheel. I really hadn't thought about the hub ring tho...
