This is probably another dumb newbie question, but where is the remote wire in this kit?

my monitor at work is really dark.. but If you look at the power cable (red), it looks like there is a coil of black ground cable in the middle... now, look inside the black roll of ground cable and I think I see some silver & blue wire.

remote turn on wire is usually very small like 18awg.

That's what I was thinking, I was expecting some 18 gauge wire, but there's nothing of the sort in the box that arrived and looking at the pic I don't see it either...maybe I need to get in contact with Knu

yeah... complain, if you planned on installing this week however you'll have to put it off for one louse piece of 18awg wire. Go to wal-mart and pick up a 25ft spool of the scosche wire.. cost you like $5. You don't need the pair of wires... so you can rip half of it off. There is no reason really to go with wire bigger than 18awg on remote turn on... but voltage & amperage are very low. This is one of the few times I advise going with the norm when it comes to wires/cable.

I sent them an email and within a few hours I got a reply stating they would send out another 20' of wire for me. Im not ready for the install yet, so that works for me. Thanks again talnlnky
