supposedly solid or rigid mount, i'd prefer a poly bushing myself.

every time i come off a stop and give a little gas i'd swear i can feel the engine shiftin around in there...it's horrible, like it's on a big rod end or something...like the thing isnt even there, just sittin on a pin or rod.

The motor mounts for our car are extremely soft. Also there is no front motor mount. So there is a bit of movement on quick takeoff or high redline shift. You could get a TRD mount from garm. Or a nitto torque dampner. Honestly if you plan to keep the car for a really long time its better to just step up and get the TRD mount.

Altenatively you could try filling your mounts with window weld a type of liquid poly. But be prepared to have a bit of vibration at idle. I have tried the nitto torque dampner which does help a bit but it still dosnt give me the dampening that i want. I probally will end up getting a trd mount. Or atleast try filling them first if i dont like how they feel well heck ill be getting the trd mount anyways.

i'm seriously thinkin bout goin old school n settin up some freakin chains in there. this is really annoying.

i'm surprised that noone's come out with it. energy suspension is really good...maybe we can all get together n send a crapload of emails to them.

i just contacted prothane on their site, i'm going to energy suspension next

start with the trans mount, it stops most of the motion and is the cheapest. TRD motor mounts will cost you $550 new. I import all the parts, let me know if I can help.

You know how much power I'm pushing and the TRD mounts are working just fine.

i can't see spending more than about 100 per mount.

sorry, but if chevy can do it for 20 bux a pair, then toyota can do it for a little more.

any way. i need rubber or poly, not 'fluid filled' joints.

yea i wish energy suspension would make motor mount inserts they work so well and help keep wheels to the ground. They are HUGE on clubrsx

ya. i've had them on hondas, camaros, jeeps, trucks...and they work wonders. they're cheaper and better than factory, and in most cases are remove and replace units. not inserts, a whole unit is installed.

i'm not paying 500 for a motor mount. simple
