15x8 19mm offset Bassetts black with orange pin stripe or 16x7 38mm offset Kosei k-1's in black

Im probably buying the Bassetts cause i dont think any Yaris out there are rocking them with an offset like that! a 3" drop with rolled fenders on a 19mm offset and an 8" wide rim with a 5.5" tire stretched on it :)

That set up is going to remind me of an old school VW that's slammed and flush! Is 5.5" stretched over 8" wide rims not pushing it? My friend blew my OEM 185mm tires on some 8" wide rims. lol.

go for it dude, with that much of a drop it could look sick.

I say Koseis, but that's my 2 cents. I'd like to see the Bassets, though. I like the look of widened steelies, but the race steelies look funny to me on street vehicles.

I really wanna see what a 19mm offset looks like on a Yaris

I would say Kosei out of these 2 wheel because that Bassetts wheel looks a bit like a racing steelie wheel.

I wonder what all I need to pull the 19mm offset off? You think I'll need front spacers? I know I'm getting rear spacers, I'm picking them up Friday evening...I'm also rolling the fenders, I'm going for the flush look, I'm trying to get on the hellaflush site....the wheels already have brand new15x8 tires, but their to big for the look I want. I want to have lots of lip!

Spacers are only going to push these out farther. You will NOT need spacers.

There have been a few people that have run XXR wheels with very low offset on 15x8s before.

no pull will accommodate the 19mm w/o 2-3 degrees of camber. Also what size wheel are you running on the tires. I doubt a 19mm offset with 205's would tuck, even with a pull.

19mm offset on a 3" drop with -3 camber in the rear -1.5 in the front.....A fender roll and pull will easily solve any rubbing problem. The tires im running will be 185's stretched to the max to show full lip and line it up with the fender. There will be plenty of tuck and alittle poke with some sick camber! Im going for the Flush look...

i like low offset hellaflush but those bassetts are hurrendous...i would go with xxr or diamond racing..you can get it for less than 90 a wheels..

The first ones no offense look like regular steel wheels that someone just cut holes out of it with a dremel tool.

Shall i continue to post pics or have i proven my point? You probably dont get on any new gen forums, like stanceiseverything or hellaflush to see what is trendy these days...Rust, junk, wild offsets, wild camber and slammed on a sick set of wheels is in if you havent noticed.:iono: But if you are from europe you should already know this?

You are right. Thats what some people think is european but it is not. I have never seen such wheels here. Back in the years steel wheels from Mattig were popular but they look different.

Yeah, I guess being born, raised, having lived in several different countries in Europe and going back about twice a year, I don't know what I am talking about. I should be convinced by all the pictures of cars with American license plates that you posted that this is the "style."

And no, I don't get on any "new gen forums" to see what is "trendy" because honestly I don't give a fuck. That's what happens when you grow up. You'll find that out one day...

Oh wait, I guess Kongo-Otto doesn't know anything about European style either, being that he only lives in Germany...

Nice try, but classic 'fail'....

So have you ever heard of worthersee? The biggest vag meet in the world? It's in Austria.... Most of the cars look like what I posted above??? Stance is what it's all about with euros. That and wild rims! Just pick up a vw or euro tuner mag...

Kongo-Otto

Anybody here knows the Wörthersee Meet. Tire size, wheel size and offset maybe like here in europe but this ugly steel wheels are not. As i said above many years ago a lot of people drove mattig steel wheels, especially 7x14 / 8 x 14 with very low offset. But they look different. And there is something special with the wheels in the US too: You dont use center caps to cover the hub. Thats a no-go here.

If you want to go oldskool german on a VW Golf (Rabbit?) you have to put on some BBS ("Kreuzspeiche") or classic Porsche wheels. Btw thats very european: To put Porsche wheels on a VW, especially the older Porsche Turbo wheels.

The former organizer of the Wörthersee Meet lived at my town until 2008. A very friendly man although i was driving a Toyota Starlet and he was 100% VW he ordered the first parts for my car and helped me with some mods.

Just get the Kosei's and some cool Neon-Chrome lug nuts to go with them.:headbang: Those Bassets are just glorified steelies, and won't do your Yaris any justice. You could always get orange tape and wrap it around the lip, and have the best of both worlds.:w00t: Not only will you save time and money by getting the right sized tires and wheels, you will also save yourself some grief by not having to do unnecessary mods to your suspension just to fit some wheels under the wells. Believe me, I know.

I say go for them. They are currently popular on mainly vw's today. I say go with what you want and F*** anyone who tells you otherwise. I'd love a nice set of silver diamond racing wheels on my Yaris.

I voted Bassett, just to see them on a Yaris with the tuck and poke... oh and because I bought his Rota's :D

I saw them last night... he's only got the rears on because he's waiting on spacers for the front. Now he's got my black steelies on the front and the super wide Bassetts in the rear. The stagger is HOT! lol...
