Vinyls 6.5" dual stripes, Gerber Scotchcal Premium Vinyl, dark charcoal metallic, installed Nov. '08, most recent pics stripes were redone on new front bumper and not installed on carbon fiber hood.

The story was that I was looking for a picture with a big enough resolution to fit on the car
and I found this...... two sided like a poker card.... passenger side (devil is in front)
Driver side (angel is in the front)....
so I just put it up.... using the stripes as a divider....

It cost a bomb to do.....

I know there are a lot of people that hate the fact that I drive a yaris but I like it so thats all that really matters :D

My wife seems thoroughly nonplussed about the entire idea of stripes... I've thought about yellow and white stripes but yellow wouldn't match any thing on my car, and my wife thinks white would not look right. I think white pearl would be more acceptable to my wife, but I'm not sure if I can find any vinyl that color, and I hate to spend the money if it doesn't look right.

Any local sign shop or vinyl shop will have swatch books on which you can see what they have, and they can always special order what they don't have in stock. I'm pretty sure you'll find something both you and your wife like. I used to work at a sign shop and there are some really nice whites out there.

Keep posting your stripes! I would love to put stripe(s) on my car and I am feeding off of these ideas and pictures. I am in no way a racer of any type, except being a marathon runner, but I'd love to put some stripes on my Yaris

It's absolutely beautiful. Have you seen the white window tint? It was mind blowing on a Lexus ES330 and would look good on your sedan but I think your car looks good just as it is........

After seeing your design I went on line to every vinyl site I could find and yours is better than all of theirs put together. Yours has "appointment" and is very classy and looks strictly factory! You did a great job....

Ok the shop took a little longer than they quoted, but that's OK by me....Quality takes time!
The color and layout is all my doing...the guys at the shop helped me tweek it here and there based on what could/couldn't be done paint-wise....
Overall I'm pretty happy with it!!:biggrin:

This was mine 1.5 years ago, Cover the Whole Black Yaris with dove Grey stickers with some graphic on the side ... looks pretty good and fierce to me but maintenance part is horrible, especially when it is time for car wash

Self applied, from a vinyl kit from http://www.bmcextremecustoms.net. From up close, it becomes pretty obvious. On the other hand, from up close there are so many chips in the paint from rocks, gravel, debris, oversized insects, etc that it really doesn't matter how bad the stripes may have been applied. The absolutely red is apparently pretty thin, and has taken quite the beating over the last 150K miles.

The graphic is a six section pre-cut piece, for the bumper, front clip, hood, roof, rear trim (and/or spoiler) and the lift back. The front clip portion appears to have been designed for a pre '09 lift back, where the grill cutout is taller, but it is what it is.

I bought a kit for the sides, as well, but honestly once applied it looked too much like something out of Charlie's Angels, so I removed them. The rally stripes will have to do.
