I need some opinions. While filling out riceboy's mod list, I got to thinking about what I'm going to do with my exhaust. What's the general opinion on where it should exit and whether is should look dual or single......

Left or right Single tip .... dual tip left or right is also acceptable depending on the look you want for your car ;)

duals on a 4cyl= no no
Indeed, I'd go with a single tip directly in the center if it doesn't cost too much.

what about open downpipe?? you forgot that one, LOL J/K
IMO one tip, Right, Left or Center, depending on how the pipe is run.

This is what I was thinking, just not this rear bumper....
That does look good, but there is no need for a 2nd tip. It just looks kind of silly.

So I'm a ricer at heart. I kind of like the look. I'm not compairing performance, but this is where I originally fell in love with the look....

open header you mean? downpipes are for turbocharged cars.

Cayman S huh? IMO, it doesn't look good on that, but the Modellista pic it does.

What's to say that it won't be?? LOL J/K
I know, somepeople call the pipe between the Header & the Cat a downpipe too, but I was just seeing if anybody would say something, & you did. LOL

It isn't about how it looks per se, but a 2nd tip on a 4 cyl is just for show, at least on the Porsche there is a slim chance it might be more than looks. Even though Porsche's uses boxer engine's.
From http://www.porsche.com (http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/cayman/cayman-s/featuresandspecs/)
"Developed specifically for the Cayman S, the engine takes full advantage of its location. It’s a six-cylinder boxer design, with two banks of cylinders located on a horizontal plane."
That is a unique design, and it would also prolly require 2 seperate exhausts. It makes it sound almost like 2 seperate 3 cyl engines.

LOL Like I said, I'm a ricer at heart. Actually, I'm leaning toward a single tip, passenger side, similar to the stock location. I like the Angled and rolled tip look, something like the Ingen exhaust for the Xa(see pic). This is the one I really want, but I wanted to see what everyone thought.
The tip is so much bigger than the pipe. Silly. Get one with a pipe as big as that tip, lol.
