My new 2010 yaris Luna

My new 2010 yaris lowered on 16s on toyota motorsport alloys.The second pic is of my old phase1 yaris which was in 3 car shows in Dublin a few years back.Hope you enjoy.

Nice Yaris, but WTF is a "Luna?" I thought it was only the Germans that put those odd-ass names on cars; like the VW Passats named after rock bands (e.g. "Pink Floyd" and "Rolling Stones")...

However, if it's your name for your Yaris, that's cool! I call my '08 "Sprocket!"

Its the model name here in Ireland.Theres 3 types of models.Sol is the highest folowed by Luna followed by Aura followed By Terra-the lowest.Theres also a T-sport model.All have different trim.Just to avoid confusion..:laugh:

Wow, I didn't know that! I've seen Yarii in the UK, Germany and Austria but didn't recall any names from different levels of trim. I was curious about it so I went to the Toyota of Ireland web site (http://www.toyota.ie) and messed around with the 'configure your car' option and it shows the differences between the four options. We don't get that much selection here in the States...of course, it is a much more popular car over in Europe then in the US. You also have much cooler commercials for the Yaris, as seen on the above web site's downloads page (http://www.toyota.ie/models/downloads/yaris/)! :headbang:

But at least our Yarii are cheaper! It's almost 33-50% more for your cars simply based on the list price (i.e. not including taxes and all that stuff!)! :eek:

Nice car, the wheels, lowering and wing are perfect for first mods. It's dark blue, right? Not a common colour for a Yaris around here. I never got the rectangular white turn signals until I saw your pics, really. Before that they just seemed strange and out-of-place in Toyota ads.

Your previous Yaris looks great, liking that clean look a lot. It wasn't a TS, was it?

On the names-bit: mine's a Linea Sol and I think it's too bad they don't have badges for that. I'm so tempted to turn mine into a Linea Lol.

The color on my new one is stellar blue metallic. Its what they call it.No my old yaris was a sol and not a t-sport.It was just modified.The color was salsa red metallic.Still saw it for sale at the dealers during the week still looking good.:smile:Yes.Toyota is the most expensive car in Ireland but also the best.
