Hi here is a pic of the back of my toyota yaris 2008 sedan deck....I was wondering if i could add a aux cable to this and run to the real aux spot next to the ebrake.....

Yes. The Aux cable connects to the second connector from the left.

A junkyard is your best bet. The AUX cable can not be purchased from Toyota, as it is part of a larger harness. I sold the one from Crashy (which I separated from the rest of the harness). I also grabbed one (and sold it) from a junkyard, where they gave me free reign to pull cables and connectors off a wrecked Yaris.

Here is what i have in the back of radio hooked up.....I went to dealer and he says there should be a aux wire run throw the dash...I found something on the right side of the console it is a 4 pin with (2 red,1 green,1 gray) wires..Not sure if this is for the aux...

That sounds correct for a sedan. The EWD shows connector D75 (the connector for the console side of the aux cable) as being a 4 pin connector with green, red, gray, red.

Seeing the picture of that radio though, if I remember correctly that particular radio doesn't support the Aux mode.

ive got a head unit for sale that supports the aux input, it came from a 2010 liftback, but it should work in the sedan correct?

So what your saying that they did the wiring in the car but the radio does not do aux.....Toyota always does something stupid like this.....So should not waste my money on aux plug....I just had the toyota dealer order for me...But have not paid....So i should just get a new deck...

D75 is the connector that plugs into the AUX jack (otherwise known as the stereo jack adapter).

Thank you for your help.
My car names VIOS, it looks like as Yaris sadan and does not have this jack and also no dics aux control.
So, can I make an aux jack for my Ipod?

From what others have found with your radio, it is best to change the radio to an aftermarket one to gain an aux jack.

I changed my factory deck with a new aftermarket and it sounds much better already.

I'm wondering if it works with "track 99"...
