Has anyone tried the Remote Controlled Muffler on a 1.8 Liter Engine?

I want to install one, but am not sure of how it sounds.

Is this the radio transmitter that listens to your alternator?

No, the exhaust has a butterfly valve inside that lets you switch between open, closed and half open configurations. Guess it's used to deaden the sound when you want it.

That's pretty cool. I've thought about butterfly type diverters, but this is all in one muffler, so much easier and a wireless remote is pretty easy although, I'd prefer dash mounted as opposed to the key fob.

I wonder if someone could make a controller for economy too... closed on the low RPM for torque and open on the highway...

i think e-cutout or something is a more famous company known for this type of exhaust, im interested to see how it sounds and looks.
