I am going to purchase a set of rims in the next couple weeks in prep for spring. I want something unique yet not over the top. I think I'm gonna go with these Rial wheels what do you all think? These are rial Como 4

they're really heavy.
but they're unique, so you'll definitely not be part of the normal crowd.

I can't imagine they are heavier than the factory Steel wheels? I do see that they are 17lbs each for the alloys

Not too bad, but if they're heavy I would avoid them. The Yaris should benefits greatly from a nice light set of wheels.

I think I read 17lbs for weight and 15x6.5 I'm gonna get them from the tirerack and use my steelies for winter since they already have my snow shoes on them already. good by TPMS I've always been a fan of the ol DIY tire pressure gauge..

What's the ET (offset), and do you plan to install new rubber or go with the original?

15x6.5, ET42 is an excellent fitment for the Yaris.

I like 'em. Looks good on the LB, probably not so much on the sedan.

I would have to agree with you.
Very nice looking wheels, I'd recommend hub spacers (or wheel spacers) for the rear to make it "fit" better (look more flush). I've found a +42 offset rear is pretty far tucked into the car for the rear.

I saw those on TireRack.com, too, and thought they were cool.
They remind me of a stock Nissan Cube wheel. However, I'd rock 'em.

i love em
they look good. I've loved 4 spoke wheels since my father's '82 Supra had them. I would worry about the weight though, that seems like a lot for 15 inchers.
My 15" Momo's weigh alot too (I believe over 20 lbs. each if I remember correctly). I've had about 6 different sets of wheels on my Yaris, including a few lightweights, and I honestly can't tell the difference. Still get good gas mileage (over 40 on the highway) and still the same acceleration butt-dyno wise.
:burnrubber:
I'd say go for it. :headbang:
look pretty stock, hopefully ur not paying a lot for them.

I think they are like 400ish dollars for the set. like i said I don't want anything over the top pretty much anything is an improvement over the steelies.. being that the roads are terrible in Western PA I don't want a set of wheels made of paper mache.. These are low pressure cast and the weight gives me the impression they will hold up well over bumps pot holes ETC
true. Well dont let anyone tell you what to get. You're the one who has to live with them. If you like them, get them.
those are nice! i was looking at that style until i found these on discounttiredirect.com:

just came today! enkei fd-05 15x7 +38. not the lightest wheel(can't find weight for that size on web anywhere - approx. 17-20lbs), but as you said before i needed something STRONG(i've bent two steel wheels on potholes this winter alone:frown:) and relatively inexpensive($100 off all instock enkei wheels sets until 2/28:biggrin:) so lightweight is what i sacrificed. you should check them out!

When you have more HP to work with, it's easy to tell the difference between heavy and light weight wheels.
When I had my seats and added my subs in the car, the car got a little slower. Then I threw in huge heavy wheels and didn't notice it get any slower.
When I took out the seats + subs I felt it get significantly faster.
When I swapped out the heavy wheels with the seats + subs still out for light weight wheels I felt it get even faster.
Think of it in terms of a person's weight:
It's hard to tell if someone's 300 or 400 pounds. Once you're past a certain point it's all just weight...
However It's easy to tell if someone's 100 or 150 pounds.

I think my difference is the tires. Everyone is always concerned about wheel weight but never about tire weight. The tires with my Momo's (...forget what they are, in storage atm) are very lightweight. But the tires I ran with my lightweight Buddy Clubs were relatively heavy.
Didn't think of it until after I posted my first statement.
