Next event is March 6 (practise) and March 7.

I'd like to get some new people interested and involved this time (more Yarii FTW!), so Micro Image is considering a few "sponsorships" for the March 7 date.

Check http://www.microimageonline.com/forums/racing-forums-autocross/1191-scca-autocross-mar-6-7-a.html for updates. Stay tuned for details...

thanks for posting this. If you've ever wanted to race or even just drive your car aggressively in a safe environment, this is it. No passing, no walls, not too expensve and great company.

They are already calling us the "Parade of Yaris" and "Invasion of the Pod Cars", great fun!

As SilverBack posts, Micro Image might sponsor a few new people -- anyone interested?

It is not a safe environment if you are a cone. I think I've killed two now. Not a good place for the Coneheads.

^Yeah that was something. It took three of us to dislodge the one you brought back to pit lol

And yeah they should replace the cones with cardboard cut-outs of politicians and the tax man, that way drivers won't feel as guilty when they mow 'em down

Hey, I did not catch the guy's name but we had our very first Yaris sedan racing this weekend. We all ran the same session so I did not get a chance to talk to him. But it is cool to see sedans coming out to join us liftbacks.

I believe that was Ryan (CA-RJ on Micro Image forums). Those were some spectacular runs he did too!

Hey guys, that was me. I had an absolute blast! Sorry I didn't get to talk with you guys much. My Dad came out for the event, so I hung with him most of the day. I'm planing to be a regular now, so you'll always get at least 1 sedan out there!

Not a big deal. I don't talk much either. Too busy thinking about the run, and also trying to keep my pants clean from the adrenaline rush
