Hi,

Do we know of any place that would sell European tire sizes in US/Canada. I am asking because Europeans have skinner tires available where as (US tires) P-metric have the stock size as the minimum size available. For example, P185/60R15 vs 165/80R15 or 175/65R15.

only real difference between a p-metric and a euro metric tire is the load capacity

and why is it you wish for skinnier tires?

for better MPG. With car weights decreasing, one does not need higher weight rated tires. But here in US/Canada tire sizes are increasing while decreasing car weights. Looks like oil lobby loves to have wider tires.

why?

Actually Americans like having wider tires. Wider tires handle better and are probably a little safer as well for the clueless can barely drive masses.
