Given the horrible experience with them (1) trying to get set up as a vendor and (2) with that guy that was on here representing the company, I wouldn't buy their kit.
But that is just me, the compressor and the kit overall looked very nice.
wasn't the instructions in in a different language

IIRC, there's some issue with the mounting bracket for the compressor since the kit was made for the Vitz in Japanland.
From what I've seen from Vitz meets in Japan, the PE kit is as common as the Blitz is here. I don't know why there's a preference over the Blitz kit, but it's a well used and tested kit. (In Japan  )
how did they get over the mounting bracket problem

Not only was Evin a problem, his demands were 100% illegal.

Yes, they were.

Here are the two links to the PE issue.

I still have my kit from my xB, but I am probably not going to put it on for a while. I just don't have the time to mess with it. Now when I did have it installed I loved it. The unit itself wasn't really loud inside the car, but the power increase was noticeable. Nothing like a box with a whine.
Now if I could ever come across a spare motor, then it might get me in gear to see what would be needed to get it to work on the Yaris 1.5

I installed this kit on frownonfuns car...
Yes the instructions are in a different language and the pictures were horrible to use as reference...
Yes there is an issue with fitment of the bracket...
I would not put PE's s/c kit off because of Evan... The kit is a high quality product...
We had to custom make another piece to fit the bracket...
If I had the chance to install one on my car I would do so in a heart beat!!!
Garm did you try to become a vendor of this kit through PE? Might be able to get it straight from Rotex...

Do you remember what all needed to be done to get it to fit correctly? I'd be good to have it posted in case others want to try to install this kit later (me maybe  )

I remember all of the slack I caught when I called this guy a clown. Then everybody jumped on me like I hadn't given the kid a chance. Over and over he proved to be from the lowest douche pits of the earth and, of course, he then disappeared as I expected.

This may very well be the case...I will not argue the point. But, if I am going to spend some good money (like 1/3 the price of the car new) on forced induction, the kit better fit 100% right out of the box and be proven. The support must also be good and reasonable. I don't expect somebody to hold my hand but I want a passionate, courteous person supporting the product. Of course, for some...FI on a daily driver and FI on a toy are two different games and worlds. I, for one, use this car as a daily driver so I would be interested in something that is pretty much plug and play (all things inherit understood). I just could not legitimize giving my money to some shmuck like that Evan guy, regardless of how good the head unit is. The head unit is only part of the equation...

I would. I think good company support is critical with any major car modification, and they don't provide it.
