I was getting my front bumper touched up last week and while my car was in the shop I decided to do my rear emblem delete. Sorry about the picture quality.

I also thought about that but if you keep the wiper and the trunk lock the look won't be so clean. In my opinion ... either go black on the emblem or leave it stock.

Whoever did that to your car, did a clean job! You can't even tell an emblem was once there! The paint is flawless!

The guy who did it is a friend of mine so he gave me a deal on a flat rate. All I did was supply the paint. I thought about a wiper delete but with Texas weather and drivers I like being able to see out my rear window.

I wouldnt get rid of the rear wiper..... personally I use mine too much to just throw it away for a clean-er look.

i like it a lot. debadging/rebadging makes people wonder even more what kinda car it is. I get asked often.
On a side note: the guy trying to find a "toyota TRD" in the computer while inspecting it was hilarious

Anything ?
What you cant put any window tint, a nice spoiler, some wheels, OEM kits
I get that you are one of them ppl that think that because the car is small with not as much power the owner shouldnt modify it. It's a car like any other.
the owner is free to do with it what ever the hell he feels like.
I guess ur car is all stock then huh .

There should be an indent for the center logo, but it looks like that has been addressed here.
Anyway, I got all caught up in the debadging thing from being on YW, and removed the TOYOTA on the left and the YARIS on the right (but not the center logo). I soon ended up regretting it and put them both back on, in their original positions.

Thanks for the feed back guys. There are two holes under the emblem that need to be sealed and the hatch has a small indentation where the emblem is. I originally took off the Yaris and Toyota emblems and put the Netz emblem in the center shortly after I got the car, but I just think it looks better with no emblems on the hatch. I still have the Netz emblem in the front.

On the contrary, I'm not one of those people that think this car shouldn't be modified. I actually bought the car with every intention of racing it when my MR2 is out of commission. To answer the previous question of, "why do you do anything to your car?" Personally I modify my cars to get more performance out of them and to get a cleaner, more simple look. You probably mod yours to enhance the looks and performance as well. So why remove the badges on the car? Because it the owner thinks it looks better. Personally I hate badges, if it weren't for the stupid dimples that would be left behind on my car, it would be like me MR2, badges removed. This guy probably likes the clean badge-less look, so just think of it as you liking to paint yours, you like your red badge up front (no offence but your car reminds me of Rudolph) and this guy likes no badges (at least in the rear, not sure how he feels about the front). Back in the day when the import scene just started out we used to remove all the badges and stickers from our cars. It seems that current trends are going in the opposite direction, I guess I need to get with the times...

Thank You, Really because looked like no one had a reason why,
And to each its own I like my red emblem the reason why is red its because BLK and RED are my fav colors. I could go BLK but then u wont see it so I went with red sticks out ALOT so it works for me. I do have mods under my hood as well looks and somewhat performance.

I looked at your car in a post you made a while back, pretty nice, not my cup of tea but nice nonetheless. Meant no offence with the comment on your badge but it just reminds me of Rudolph lol. You certainly did accomplish getting it to stand out though because it was the first thing I noticed when I first saw your car . But at any rate, removing badges is just to get a cleaner look, this guy did it the "right way" though because he actually had the dimple and the holes shaved from where the emblem used to be.

Yup, that's the point:tongue:
Plus he's not just taking the badge away, he did fill up the dimple & holes & get it paint, etc. This is CUSTOM:headbang::headbang:

um..did youre exhaust disappear in the new pic?
The lack of center badge, even with the filler, looks like it is missing something especially since the spot is integrated into the shape of the trunk. I have come to the conclusion that the side badges look good gone, but SOMETHING needs to be in the center. maybe something unique...remember that guy with the Subaru badge in front?
