NCal Bay Area Yaris Meet in April

When: April 16th 7:45 PM
Where: Ocean Supermarket in Milpitas
What: Meet, greet, and eat. Afterwards possible a cruise.
Plan: There is a pizza hut in same complex. We can grab a few large pizzas and eat in the parking lot while talking and taking pictures. Another option too for food is there is a super burrito across the street that has ample seating area too.

Please copy and paste this list if you plan to attend with your name under so we can plan how many people are going. Also any suggestions or changes in time that works best for everyone please post and we can modify the schedule.

Not just that, but I've had close calls, I tend do cruise in 1st or 2nd gear to avoid idiots. Is location still deep in the city?

That's wise, especially when they have events in the city. That's what I always do. Never, ever drive to a major event like that.

Last time I went to Cherry Blossom, I got off at Civic Center (BARt or Muni Underground) (where the parade starts) and walked up to Japantown. It's not that far.

You want to do a Cherry Blossom YW meet? probably ought to go in a separate threads. That's a lot of meets :thumbup:

cool, Prius joins us each time. On a side note, my friend who has an Insight 2nd gen will start to do mods and hopefully join our meets so there will be TWO hybrids, once summer comes, he'll have his car here and not in missouri where hes at for college.

Another option is at marie callanders in milpitas. Their parking lot is big where we all can park together and also they have seperate room in the back for large partys. Works out for if some people that already ate or dont want to they can just have a slice of pie but still attend and chat.

Bump just to remind everyone the meet is 2 weeks away. There is a round table pizza across where the parking lot waking distance if we decide we all want to sit down at eat. We can wait to see how many people show up and see what we all want to do.

South Park Victoria Drive Milpitas, CA 95035 (ocean supermarket) parking lot. Meet in the front. FYI pizza hut still has that 10 dollar any pizza any size deal going on but you have to order online. So if we decided to order from them hopefully someone has a cel phone with internet acess we can order online and then pick it up a few minutes later hehe.

Anyone interested in my 2 1/2 month old NST cage and cable bushings? I find the cable bushings make my shifts too stiff and the cage bushings not much need for them i dont slam my shifts. O and i got MI fog lights i dont need only thing is it wont have the relay connector thing or whatever cuz im using it. I think you can still have it wired to show up fog lights on regardless.

I had fun!!! Finally got to meet everyone and see the cars. For the few that went on the cruz after the meet my bad, I had a cop right behind me at the light and my setup isnt me street approved.

i gotta say the 23mm rear sway bar and X brace worked wonders, definitely felt the difference I wasnt thrown around at all. And that Nitto Engine Damper its like push to go, pretty amazing. Tho i can hear what im assuming is the pulleys moving, sounds whinny in gear.

ezhacker, you are probably just hearing engine noise transmitted through the damper and the chassis.

jrjrdihn - probably the best Prius driver in California, does a great job of running through the mountain :)

Advocate - the run was good, i fell back. Taylor did a good job of being a clone of you ;)

GREAT turnout, "fmicle" came by for a little bit w/ his kid. Very nice custom boosted Yaris. Wish he could have came w/ us on the mountain cruise. Next time for sure.

each meet I get something off of Taylor's Hatchback S. My car is slowly being more S like in the inside.

I'd like to think that i was skillful (or lucky) that i corrected for that crazy understeer/slide with the gravel that Taylor kicked up on that sheer cliff section. Im sure i scared Alex....

No it was not a bad end kicking out, it was a front wheels just had no traction when it hit the gravel. Tho at one part before that my back end did kick out which was rather cool, cuz the worse thing that could have happened there was hit dirt not fly off a cliff... I guess we are even as well, too bad my camera mount broke couldnt film the drive and missed your off road adventure last time.
