So I came out of wal Mart to see my front fender with a bunch of clear liquidy crap all over it... Then I noticed an open empty tube of superglue laying on the ground next to it. Awesome.

Someone walked by and probably thought it would be funny to squirt a car with it...

So... Do you think there is ANY way to get this crap off?

Acetone/Nail polish remover will do it.

No clue on what it'll do to the paint though. :iono:

Edit: I remember reading an article awhile ago that spoke of using nail polish remover to remove tree sap and tar from car paint, so I think you should be good, so long as you use very little and wipe it off. It does evaporate pretty quick, but to be safe, I wouldn't let it sit.

That's what I've been reading on other forums... Nobody really had a concrete answer on wether or not it will take off the paint...

I claybarred it a little bit as soon as I saw it and a little came off. I'm thinking about maybe trying to claybar it more and try some goo gone or goof off to see if I get any results.

If that doesn't work... Acetone it is I guess :/

You can also try WD-40 since it's the cheaper alternative to Goo Gone.

try the acetone on the painted surfaces under your rear bumper. Put some on a rag and rub it hard. If you don't get paint on your rag, you're probably ok.

yeah test it out on a spot before you actually do it or else you might end up really pissed off lol. i remember when i was younger i spilled nail polish on my moms hardwood floors and i thought id just use a bit of nail polish remover to get it off. well it ate the varnish and a bit of the stain off the floor. you can still see the lighter spots where i rubbed it at...lol.
