Toyota Auris Hybrid for Europe

Apologies to anyone who posted this already. Saw this article about the Auris Hybrid that will be sold in Europe only. LINKY (http://gas2.org/2010/03/02/toyota-auris-hybrid-hatchback-to-get-61-9-mpg/)
Interior looks like it could be a Yaris except for the missing center console. With an estimated 61 mpg. Wow-wa-wee-wah!

It's going to be a big hit here in the Netherlands.

The Prius is already one of the most sold cars here but the Auris hybrid is going to be a big hit also!

My next car is going to be Auris hybrid after my Yaris diesel i think, or maybe the Yaris hybrid.

62mpg is cool... if they could sell this in the states for less than a prius that would be awesome...now give us a big hybrid truck, like a Tundra Hybrid with a turbo'd 6. I could drive the Auris... the fiancee could drive a Matrix, and she'd own the Hybrid Tundra for hauling her three horses around.
