Interior lights

anyone suffer from interior lights not coming on with unlocking using key remote. just stopped working. can turn on lights by switch but use to come on when i would unlock the car with the key remote. any help would be appreciated

Is the switch in the correct position? It has to be in the "door" position, not the "off" position to work.
