My stock tires are 185/60/R15, can I put 185/65/R15's in place of them. I am more or less an idiot when it comes to tires, and did attempt to look for info on this to no avail as all the helpful threads just left me confused...

I'm sure you can. You'll need to add 3% to your speedometer reading. Which works out to about 2MPH at highway speed. Of course, the Yaris' center mounted speedometer position sucks enough that I doubt 2 MPH makes much difference to anyone who acutally tries to use it. ;-)

Use your GPS or get a Scangauge II. That's my advice to any Yaris driver.

The Mini's center mounted speedometer is lower and harder to glance at than the Yaris's but no one seems to mind. Funny why the Yaris always gets criticized for having a better designed dash. I think I might go for the 185/65R15 Goodyear Assurance Comfortred Touring next.

if 2 mph matters to you when you are looking at the speedo you are using it wrong.
