Looks about right in terms of fitment. I know you are uncomfortable with the loudness, so your video will be helpful to others.

is there really that much difference in axle-backs(sound-wise)? i think i remember seeing on dc's site they make an optional 'silencer' for this exhaust(note the hole in bottom of tip).

Looks alot like the one that came stock on the wife's 05 xb. It came with an optional silencer.

Nitto vs. the Greddy ti-c = huge difference! so yes, there can be.

How much clearance is there between the tip and the bottom of bumper? In the pic it looks like practically no clearance.

There is about 1.000 - 1.250 clearance between the top of the exhaust to the bottom of the bumper.

I have video, it is an mpeg4 format. What is the best way to post it?

-Thanks.

My wife threw her's away last time she cleaned out the closet. I would have been glad to donate it. sorry.

I have got a few compliments on the tone of the exhaust already but to me it is a bit loud, through all ranges of the rpm. Thats why I think a silencer might just do the trick.

It's ok, would have been nice but thanks for the thought, Palmer812.

I like the look of the muffler; reminds me of the old school HKS Super Dragger. Any pictures of the exhaust by itself before installation?

I have one left for the sedan, I think red horse is picking it up?

I'm sure I can get more.

wow, I think that sounds awesome, a little more aggressive than the Tanabe brand.

Wonder what it would sound like on my car...with the DC header and Midpipe i got from you...The tanabe is just to winning sound for me now...this one sounds like it might get a little lower tone???

cali yaris

lower... and louder, from the sound of that video clip

Mistry

Yeah it is pretty low and loud, right after it shifts (in the low rpms). I will try to get a sound clip from inside the car while driving (having a friend hold the camera of course).
BTW, I have a Simota Carbon Charger Intake installed, also purchased from Garm.

DC sports exhaust for sedan. I don't have a video camera for the sound clip but the sound is the same on the liftback and its not that loud it is quiet when cruising 50-80 mph, the clearance on the bumper is kinda wide about 2" inches because I don't have a lip kit. In my opinion this is the best exhaust for sedan.

Its been about 2 weeks since I have had it installed and I am getting used to the sound level. I have been told that the "loudness" is about average compared to other aftermarket exhausts. This is my first one so I wasn't too sure about the loudness.
It does sit a bit low but everyday I seem to be enjoying it more and more.

-Thank you Garm!!!!!!!

It should mellow a little bit as some carbon builds up on the inside surfaces.

Looks good. You could use slightly shorter hangers if you want to cinch it up a little closer to the bumper.

Thank you. Do you know any site where I can get a short hanger that will fit on our yaris?

Autozone/Advanced Auto sell all sizes of hangers for a couple bucks. Take your stock one in from the parking lot and compare sizes.
