Well even tho I was born in NY i lived in PuertoRico for many years and I lived in the US as a kid for some years as well, Well I been back in the US since November 2005 and must say I am kinda proud of me lol for not getting a ticket untill now, I used to get speeding tickets almost every 2 months or less in PuertoRico lol
Well I was pulled over by a unmarked vehicle today becaused I was doing 51 and a 35 wich at the begining i was like WHAT really? but then it all started to sink in as I know I do speed a lot, So he gives me a $166 speeding ticket on a School Zone wich I deserve because I WAS SPEEDING:biggrin: and then Warns me that there is more officers then the same road and to slow down because there is another School Zone they guys was cool about it so I didnt even tried to argue with him. I have always felt the need to be going faster then others and idk why, maybe the need for speed id hate to say it but its the truth. Well that leaves me with a $166 ticket that I have to pay, could have use that money for a mod

You'll learn. We all do eventually.

Well at least you're taking ownership of it. Hopefully you'll have the ticket reduced.

I hear ya, I didn't even know speeding tickets cost that much until I got one myself. But that won't happen again.

i don't think you can call yourself a car enthusiast if you haven't had at least 1 speeding ticket.

Ah preston. I never go above 5 over around there. They have the most unmarked cars for that district. Funny thing is that they have some tuner looking Honda Civics that are actually undercover officers.

yeah I'll flame you.

rule 1 of speeding is, you just don't ever do it in town, residential streets, or near schools. you are a knob.
you are going to run some innocent kid over someday, and prison is in your future

save speeding for the highway.

Happened in my town just the other day. Some 19 yr. old with prior reckless driving citations was speeding down a main road about 7AM and killed a 15yr old on his way to school as he was crossing the street. Clothing and shoes strewn for 75 feet. Kid died instantly.

Speed kills. Never worth the risk.

It's a shame you'll have to spend all that money on a ticket.

Play nice everybody or the thread gets locked.
