Every second Wednesday of the month at approx. 8:30PM
Krispy Kreme Mississauga. 5920 Mavis Rd.
(Mavis & Brittania)
Directions: take Hwy 401 and exit at Mavis Rd. (exit#340). Head south on Mavis toward Brittania.

Darn, I was looking forward to seeing everybody again too but work is dragging me out of town on April 14th :frown:

I will be in Ottawa that night sans Yaris. I'd suggest a mini-meet there but I don't know how late I will be working that night and it would not be cool to miss a meeting I had suggested :redface:

I used to keep a stash of Yarisworld flyers in my glovebox and put them under the wipers of any Yarii spotted in mall parking lots. They're easier to capture when sleeping (parked).

Summer sneakers on. Winter paint chips touched-up (round 1).
Still need to remover the winter mats and thoroughly clean the carpets and the install the summer mats. A fresh coat of ICE is in order too. Hopefully next weekend if the weather co-operates.

I had one back away back. Sometimes I wouldn't mind taking one for a spin but no real desire to own another. It's treacherous out there with all those inattentive steering wheel holders (can't call them drivers).

What are you using to do your touch-ups?

Toyota paint pen. A sharpy of sorts but the tip moves in/out to pump out the paint. One end pumps my BLUE, the other end pumps CLEAR.
I'm certainly no artist and regret the first go-around.

tried touching up mine last week too....couple of chips in the door of all places

my new painted-by-toyota's-body-shop bumper has ZERO chips in it from last summer till now....wish i could say the same for the oem paint on my hood, fenders, and roof :'(

wee, we should see what we can work out this weekend for spring installation...

I'm working on a technique to make it work. Too much paint ends up outside the chip so I whip if off. Several applications doing this seems to be my immediate solution.

I've found that some 1000 grit wet works to smooth out the paint blob. Then 3000 wet, then polish. I don't bother with the clear.

Thanks for the pictures WeeYari. I really wish I was with you guys last night. Instead, I am in Ottawa for work. Last night thieves broke into my Yaris and helped themselves to my iPod that was in the glovebox. :frown:

On the upside, the car was not injured (kudos to the SlimJim proficiency of Ottawa thieves).
