I put the TRD lowering springs on my 08 Yaris last week. I thought the ride felt better than the factory springs and handling is a bit better. Two days later, I added the TRD rear sway bar. This little car handles nicely now! I recommend both mods to all Yaris owners.

Thanks! Not going to replace struts/shocks until they need to be replaced, though. This was fun to do on the "cheap".

Looks great! I like the wheels.
I only replaced the springs on mine as well and will wait till new struts and shocks are needed before replacing them.

I have a Megan Racing muffler on it and the rear axle beam hits the pipe sometimes. Shorter hangers should resolve that. I have 17" wheels and no rubbing.

Wow Rick, I'm a fan! I like the "simple" mods. I'm a daily highway driver and I was looking to make similar adjustments. Good job!
those are at the top of my list of to do.. i just ordered the same rims as you as well! konig feathers 16" with nitto neogens 205/45/16. what are yours? also how much was it to install the springs and sway bar or did you do it yourself?

17" Feathers...Kumho Ecsta AST 215/40R17 tires.
I work at a dealership and paid a tech $60 on the side to install the springs and $20 to do the sway bar. I think book time on the springs is about 5-6 hours, so look out if you have a shop do it. Labor could be expensive!

I am thinking of whether to get the NF210 or the TRD, now see your thread....looks so nice......
Also, just wondering will it be like really bumpy on uneven road?

Ride quality is subjective. But I have the TRDs and I think the ride is just fine. I bit more firm than stock...but nothing harsh. I am rolling on 15s though and I'm sure that helps my overall ride.
Take a look at Progress springs. $150 from Micro Image.

Have you driven on "really bumpy" roads, like was asked? Because if that's not harsh, I don't know what is. It feels fine 99% of the time, but on uneven roads, it sucks.

Oh yes...I have a few bumpy roads I drive on. But that's why I said ride quality is subjective. What's bad to one person may not be that bad to someone else. That was my only point.
