LOL.

So I'm in Vegas all weekend for an event and they have a thing called Midnight Madness on Friday nights at Las Vegas Motor SpeedWay.

10 bucks and a quick tech inspect and you can run as many times as you want.. So my 2010 LB Turned an 18.505 at 74.5 mph in the 1/4. The drag egg... i mean for 10 bucks why not?!

I have a bunch of video that ill post later. Still gotta edit it and pull it off the camera.

My car has: DC Headers, TRD Axleback, NST Pulleys, Afe Intake, and a bunch of suspension stuff

Something is wrong. My bone stock 09 with not so much as any lightening claimed 17.54 @ 78.37mph. With those mods, you might try lowering your tire pressure, your 60ft times are sky high, I bet.

Astroman has what looks like the exact same mod list as you, and he has a slip proving 16.9 @ 81mph...

Again, check your 60 foot times. If they are ridiculous, you aren't hooking up.

I want to see garm head over there and tell us what a boosted yaris can do.

A question I have for the poster is.... Manual or auto, sedan or hatch?

Auto 3 door according to his garage. I think the auto would explain the time difference. If I could run for only 10 bucks at my track, I'd go for it too.

Weird my average 60' time was 2.1 seconds . My best according to the timer at the Autox was 2.0 seconds . The average 60' time for the Evo's for that day was 2.2 seconds . The key is NOT to stomp the gas when the light turns green b/c your tires will spin .

If you drive a manual try releasing the clutch at about 1500-2000 rpms
If you drive an auto try starting in 2nd ....

What would be the time in the 1/4 for a stock 2008 auto HB?

Astroman claims auto on those timeslips. It's bad driving.

Putting the auto shifter in second doesn't make it start in second gear. It just keeps it from upshifting past second.

Holy crap. You clearly have never actually raced drag competitively.

Guilty X 2
My thinking on the 2000 rpm launch is that you won't spin tires much on a Yaris . I just think launching a Yaris would be more effective using torque instead of horsepower . I'll admit I'm not drag expert of any sort , but I'm thinking a 2.1 sec 60' time is decent for a stock Yaris LB . That is how I launch when I do Autox

And clearly , I've never owned an auto trans
