Looks like a go-kart... but it would be nice if the wheels are flush... but I wonder how that thing handles on the track or street.

that is at the autocross track. the car was amazing to drive yesterday.

flush wheels = less tire = less grip, not what I want when I race.

What spring rate did you end up using?

cali yaris

@thepoche: 8k front, 10k rear.

Your getting the CF flairs aren't you?

cali yaris

I have a set in CF and a set in fiberglass. I haven't decided which ones to use. Kind of a shame to chop up the CF ones so they fit with the sideskirts and rear bumper.

The 13's are only for track use -- I don't really need flares for the street, the SSR's look fine. If I do it, I'm going to need wider street wheels.

Uh oh so are you going to attempt the crazy 15x9 or 16x9 setup for street use?

cali yaris
03-29-2010, 11:41 PM
15x8 or 15x9, depends on offset and where exactly the flares end up. If I do it at all, I wasn't really thinking about it when I posted the track pictures -- but you guys get me going, lol.

How did you do at the Autocross?
What class is your car in?

Your car looks mean! :evil:

no, buying a used Lotus for $25k and bringing it to autocross and kicking ass -- that's cheating, LOL.

I'm in CSM (SM for California only). I haven't seen the results yet, but I am improving with every outing. Now I have to learn to push harder with the new tires, I was a little tentative this time.
