installed this on my yaris about two weeks ago...my wife didnt like the feel, so i took it off

like i said, only used it for 2 weeks and maybe 500km

no pic, but it's gold

asking $75USD shipped in the US or Canada

I thought the engine bay one only fits some 08's and nothing newer than that?

Ive seen folks with newer cars running them. Sounds like a bit of a gamble...hmm

yeah, it will fit some of the 09s as is, some with slight modification. Two different sources in late 08 for shift linkage. Not a big deal, can be done with file or dremel.

The problem is, with some later year linkages is, you have trouble getting the stock retaining pin into the hole because the SS sits just a couple of mm too high. A few swipes with a very small rat tail file or a Dremel in the area where the pin goes wiil fix it.

BTW, I got a Dremel way back in 1980 during my RC model aircraft building days.
I no longer build RC aircraft but, I still find the Dremal very valuable at times for all sorts of things.
So, if you come across one on sale, get it! :smile:
