I used to have a WRX Wagon as well. One of the ugliest cars ever made, but it was a lot of fun to drive.

Some of the new Saab's are Subaru's mechanically. I think it's the 9-3 is made up from the STI. A little different trim, some slight styling changes and viola. Not to take away from either car, I think they're both great.

No, it's the 9-2 that shares the Impreza platform.

oops, I was confused, it is the 9-2x. the only benefit over a WRX is On-Star.

Yeah but you have to pay for onstar, I would rather buy a cell phone and say "hey come get me"

Indeed, onstar is the biggest waste of money there is.

I dunno, I think it's a great deal. Yeah, the phone service is useless, but the fact that it calls for help immediately in the event of airbag deployment makes it more than worth the money, IMO.
A few hundred extra $$$ a year to know that your wife won't be out in a remote ditch with brain swelling and internal bleeding for 2 hours is cheap.
I don't have it, but I would if it were offered on my vehicles.
