The above two youtube videos is how our government thinks it's going to reach kids to try and cut down the road toll. 18-25 year olds are the majority of road deaths over here cause they are inexperienced and speed.

What do you think?

I wonder if anyone else has looked into time of day as a factor into why so many young kids are killing themselves on the roads.

Many fatal accidents involving younger drivers are occurring during late night hours, when visibility is lower, drivers are more fatigued, concentrating less and unfortunately, sometimes drunk.

Consider what kind of drivers are dominating the proportion of traffic on the roads after 12am? under 25's... Its not that they are necessarily worse drivers, but they make up the majority of people on the roads at such 'dangerous' times, so in my view it makes sense they are a higher statistic than the rest of us, who are in bed asleep.

Indeed. Here in the US, the FBI's and NSA's Carnivore and NarusInsight systems only *monitor* everything you say and do online. They don't, to my knowledge, censor anything.

In Michigan we have restrictions on drivers under 17 and that cut down fatal accidents by 25%. I think that's the real solution.

Yes. What we really need are more public service announcements directing us to remember to plug our pacemakers into the charger at night, or they'll turn off Lawrence Welk. :-P
