rear bushings go crunch

anyone else hear their rear bushings make some noise on hard turns, it seems to happen once in a blue moon, but sounds like it's coming from the rear wheel wells, dependent on which direction i'm turning it's usually the outer wheelwell. I'm assuming bushings because it sounds just like it, kinda like a crunch/knock sound and usually just once per that turn. and no, it doesnt go crunch on hard bumps or dips.
it really doesn't happen often enough to give me serious concern, but just thinking ahead as the best maintenance is preventative.
