I am looking at getting fog lamps for my 2006 white 5dr hatch.
I saw some cheap ones on ebay.
So.. do I have to take the bumper off to install them? even if I dont wire them up?

I dont really care if they work or not. I think they might just make my car look a bit better.

How can they "look nice" if they are not even hooked up and functional?
Even though I hate the term, IMO this qualifies as "rice"

BTW, removing the bumper on a yaris is stupid simple.

Yeah, but wiring fog lights is a pain as it requires the removal of the windshield wiper assembly which is a pain in the ass. Yes, it is simple; but just a lot of work.

However, I have to agree that if a person is going through the bother of installing fog lights; they should hook 'em up! Plus, they look a lot cooler when they're working...

Cheers! M2

i dont know how you installed your fog lights , but if you follow the
Toyota instructions , the only thing removed from the car is the bumper
which you dont even have to do , if you don't want too.

Maybe there's something different about Kiwi Yarii; but the official Toyota instructions I have say to remove the wiper assembly, as did the DIY I pulled from this forum (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9473)...:iono:
