Small DFW meet

Our friend from Odessa (frownonfun) will be in the area in the coming weekend 17-18 for the Nascar race. We should have a dinner for him and a small meet. It will be on the Fort Worth side as that is where he will be staying. There is a Fuddruckers (burger place) at I-20 and Bryant Irving in Fort Worth. Just throwing that out there for a place to eat. Perferably a family place if you suggest one he will have his son with him. So come out and see one of two boosted Yari in Texas!

oh hey so i'm gonna be in the howard johnson close to crowley. the one right off 35w. i think that's the road. but i can go where ever to meet up. I assumed we'd just be meeting up at lilredrockets when i booked but if ya'll got other plans in mind it's whatever.

I think there is an aura about that kit that no one wants to buy it. I even said make me an offer... starting to think I should take some trades for it

i'm telling you... you should go back and read my old FS thread on that kit and just see how low i went with that thing and still no takers. and what really sucks is if it would have just fit i'd have just put it on a long ass time ago. oh well.

8 am till 3 or 4. Break for lunch around noon. 8 runs, 4 am, 4pm. If you aren't entering, cars generally start running around 9:45 am.

Hey on a side note I'm taking my car in tuesday to replace the factory ECU with an emanage and get it tuned. i'd like to bump the PSI on the supercharger as well and just thought I'd get some input from some of you guys as to how much of an increase I should go with. It's at 7psi right now I believe. I was thinking of going with 12. Too much? Too little?

How are you going ot increase your psi? What type of emanage are you going to be running? Are you staying in the Fort Worth area to have this done or did you find someone in Odessa?

Does everyone want to go out to eat tomorrow night or did you all want tot come by here to eat and it is cheaper to drink if prefered. I just need to know I need to pick a few things up from the store.

It's the emanage ultimate i believe. I don't honestly know. I was talking to MVP Motorsports there in the DFW area about what my options were for raising the psi on my blower since they can't retune the piggyback that came with it and they told me they could with an emanage. I guess I misspoke when I said "replace" my ECU but I was under the impression boost was something the emanage could alter. Is this incorrect?

And yeah I'll be staying somewhere close to the shop there in DFW to have this done on tuesday.

If you want we might could go eat somewhere there in crowley and then come back to your place and kick it for a little while. That way you don't gotta worry about providing food. But whatever we do it'd be nice to know around when you guys wanna do it so I know when to leave for DFW tomorrow.

I get off work at 3 today and after that I am going to go order a muffler at another shop and will be home around 5ish so probably 6:30-7 we all could meet up. I have been wanting to try this new burger joint that is like 3 miles from the house.

Hmm. Not sure. Nick mentioned a burger joint he was wanting to try. I assume that isn't Fuddruckers. But I think we are set on meeting up in Crowley if that helps you figure your trip.
