In our world which seems to be dominated by TRD, Tanabe and Tein, here is an option not much heard about.
Given that not many people are running them, when they became locally available late last year, I was hesitant to buy them. Price was too good to pass up, so WTH, I decided to get them.
As they are 'new to me', I have no idea what the spring rates are, or any of the other technical specs that go along with springs. All I do know is that the drop is 1.5 inches front and rear. This seems to be one of the few springs which fills the void between TRD/NFs and DFs/Tein. I wanted more than 1.25, and less than 1.8 without going to coilovers.
With them only being on for less than 2 days now, I've not had much opportunity to really push them. I can say that I'm now definitely stiff, but not bone jarring. Discovered this morning that I don't need to plan routes which avoid railway crossings.
From what I've felt so far, I think I will be very happy with my setup which consists of;
16" wheels,
195/50 tires,
TRD rear sway,
Megan Springs.
Makes, what is for me, some very satisfying, well above average spirited daily driving.
