I will buy all the parts from AutoZone and I have a mobile mechanic that will replace shoes and adjust parking brake for 60 dollars. So close to a hundred for parts and his labor. Is that high?
I want to watch him do it so next time I will know how

I don't think so since he is mobile and will come to you. It depends on how valuable your time is. I personally would never pay for a brake job no matter what the cost is. I do my own.

I would never trust a mobile mechanic, not from what I've seen over the years. I usually have to redo their mess, so the customer ends up paying about double. They'll usually be more convenient, but not any cheaper than my original quote. I'd find a good repair manual and do one side at a time.

A stated, it depend how vaulable your time is and if you don't have the proper tools to do it yourself and/or you expertise in this area.
You have to decide if $60 is worth it for you. IMO it is reasonable price considering the price of auto repairs these days.
As a comparison, last fall I had new brakes all around installed on my Celica GT (front disk/rear drums) and $225 was the absolute best price I could find in my area.
