ok, got some tuning done today. Good news and bad news.
The bad news is that, for a couple of small reasons, we didn't get very far on high boost. So we are scheduled for another tune next week. The car kept throwing off the fan belt. It was suggested that at this level of power, I should be back on my stock pulleys (crank and alt). So it shall be.
The good news. The car made nearly 40 more whp at ~13 psi over the last tune, and a couple more torque). I knew we would lose some mid-range torque, and we did, but no one expected such a nice gain on top.
Things we changed:
* 3" exhaust from the downpipe back
* custom intake manifold
* Celica GT-S throttle body
* water/meth injection (not used for the 13psi tune)
The better news. Looking at the end of the chart, the motor just wants to make even more power at higher rpms. So I need to source some stronger valve springs right away, so we can up our rev limit.
I am super happy with the drivability, Bisi tuned out a lot of small issues and it's plain FUN to drive. Huge thank you to BISIMOTO ENGINEERING for a good time and great results (so far)
Ok so here's the chart, comparing last session with this one.
