ok, got some tuning done today. Good news and bad news.

The bad news is that, for a couple of small reasons, we didn't get very far on high boost. So we are scheduled for another tune next week. The car kept throwing off the fan belt. It was suggested that at this level of power, I should be back on my stock pulleys (crank and alt). So it shall be.

The good news. The car made nearly 40 more whp at ~13 psi over the last tune, and a couple more torque). I knew we would lose some mid-range torque, and we did, but no one expected such a nice gain on top.

Things we changed:
* 3" exhaust from the downpipe back
* custom intake manifold
* Celica GT-S throttle body
* water/meth injection (not used for the 13psi tune)

The better news. Looking at the end of the chart, the motor just wants to make even more power at higher rpms. So I need to source some stronger valve springs right away, so we can up our rev limit.

I am super happy with the drivability, Bisi tuned out a lot of small issues and it's plain FUN to drive. Huge thank you to BISIMOTO ENGINEERING for a good time and great results (so far)

Ok so here's the chart, comparing last session with this one.

Very nice, looks like it just keeps going and going. Must feel great to just keep it in the higher RPMs and just mash to have power come on.

Garm, do you know the weight of your car? I'm thinking 2100 lbs? Pwr/wt = 0.123?:eek: Supercar!:thumbsup:

I think more like 2150, but I haven't weighed it yet -- I'd like to, though.

Looking forward to next week's tuning, hopefully the high boost numbers, woooooo!!

I think we can make 400, or close to it, as long as nothing else breaks.

Damn Garm pretty freakin' amazing for only 13psi . So what psi do you have the meth injection set to ??? I'm thinking your set-up can put down 400 on high boost with the upgrades and the meth .

I think so, we'll know next Tuesday. Going for 25 psi, see what she makes there.

Good luck I really hope your motor can handle that much boost. I think I would cry if your car broke

Garm.... I want you to ship your car to europe and take a few laps on the Nurburgring course.... GT4 says with full mods, 260hp, Nos, and some crazy driving that a yaris can do 7:25 laps..... It'd be awesome to have a video of a yaris doing that in real life.

Please let me live vicariously through such an endeavor.. hehe :biggrin:
