i have a single din motorized Eonon from 2 years back. The GUI is pretty much ugly and from the screen pics its the same old GUI. No touch screen commands for DVD or CD. If you dont care about too much things like a nice GUI, then it does what it says it does perfectly fine (screen and motor no issues) but i did have trouble playing American DVDs it would either work or bring up an error everytime. You might as well get a touch screen and connect it to a laptop as a carpc, much better in the long run.
Newer Eonon GUI seems much better, but most of their screens are horrible resolution 480*272 (think PSP) so its horrible at 7 in, get a touch screen and get VGA 800*480 quality. :)

its a crappy chinese knock off, and no support
+1
Everything other than the actual PC & touchscreen (plastic trim, side controls, DVD drive) is very nice though... Something like that would be perfect for my carpc project.

True, it's not bad at all for the price.
Are you in contact with a Eonon distributor at the moment? It would be awesome to see if they'd be willing to sell just the trim and controls as a one-time deal.
Also, could you tell me how the controls hook up to the PC? I'm hoping they hook up through USB. That would be perfect.

the HB one needs different trims on the side to install correctly, just look at the 2nd pic.

I wouldn't recommend anyone getting this brand since we've had a lot of problems with this brand in the past that's why the shop I work for stopped carrying it. I would recommend Rosen if you want something stock looking. They make one for the Yaris.
