so ive narrowed the color down to about 4000k, seeing as how that's roughly the same color that most OEM higher end vehicles come with, so now i need to find a good long lasting RELIABLE kit to install in her OEM headlight housings?
any ideas?

Either plan on retrofitting MI projectors to go with them, buy projectors from ebay, or significantly lower your headlight aim to compensate. My experience in Colorado is that they are pretty picky about headlight glare, what with all the twisty dark mountain roads.

Microimageonline.com for the win!
Garm has them all, and is best for quality:

i look at Garm HID Kit it's look like a good kit, i tried ebay $40 dollars hid kit with another HID kit i bought for like 80 bucks that look like the one Garm selling from another seller (not from ebay} and i can tell you they are big difference in color and quality.

Garm's 6000k HIDs are #1 choice if you are looking for regular HIDs....they dont have a huge glare like the rest I have seen...
When you install them, take a small piece of aluminum foil and tape it to the small cut out underneath the bulb frame and it will better help the glare even more!
Good luck.

I've been considering being an HID vendor on the forum. A friend of mine directed me to this site and thought that some would be interested here.
I have a full range of kits from single beam to dual beam for the h4

Holy crap, you disappeared for a very long time, welcome back man
Barber - you'r bixenon look identical to Garm's HIDs...but that little strip underneat the casing, is what i was talking about putting a small foil piece to shield the glare even more. Thanks for the pic.
