KSport GT Springs?

I was looking at installing some new spring, and I came across these KSPORT ones. They look like the Megan springs. Has anyone had experience with these? Good or bad?

Never heard of these before... They have a tanabe DF type of drop.

Most likely the same as the megans I have heard good things from the few people that have installed them.

Only similarity to Megans that I can see are their orange colour.

Megans are linear, KSport progressive.
Megans drop 1.5" front and rear. KSport 1.6" front, 1.8" rear.

KSport spring rate not shown in link. Megans are 250 lbs front, 225 lbs rear.

not necessarily. but it really doesn't give you any idea what is starts at and progresses to, now does it? weird, it should give you some sort of idea.

progressive rates mean that that farther the spring is compressed, the harder it gets

progressive rate springs will offer a more stock-like ride than firmer linear-rate springs

1.8 in the rear w/ 1,6 up front will look stupid if it sags a lot

I was able to get a guy on the phone, and he told me that the spring rate was "irrelevant" since they're springs and not coil-overs. He also told me that the springs were "30%" more aggressive than the stocks. Now how do those measure up to the aggressiveness of the Teins? Am I better off with these springs on the Tokico's or the stock struts?

30% would make them about the same as Tanabe DFs. So with spring rate and drop being the same, these are probably orange Tanabes. They will be softer than Tein by a fair bit.

So, are softer springs/stiff shocks(tokico's) the way to go for more comfort?

Progressive springs are generally more comfortable because they are softer when the spring is extending from the normal ride height and compressing slightly, this is the motion most bumps, potholes, and other irregularities in the road cause, so for this it is soft, which generally means more comfortable.

Now when cornering hard it has the soft spring rate for the first bit and the body easily rolls, but then the stiffer rate comes into affect and reduces the additional amount of body roll that you will get, which make the cornering better.

Just curious, its been almost a year since this post been active but has anybody tried these springs? If so, any issues? or pros and cons they want to share?
