Judging will be going on all day
Awarding will begin at 4:00pm with pictures with your car and group photos shortly afterwards.
To be elligible for awards you must stay until Awarding.
Entertainment Provided by DJ Shy and DJ Rush
In our efforts to make our guests happy, we want people to have a fair shake at awards. All judging will be held by an impartial committee who are not registered in any category.
Judging will be based on Overall Presentation. Not just how many Mods you may have, but how they all coincide together.
Customizations should be clean, seamless, near perfect.
Understandably event goers will be coming from all over, and will be driving their vehicles.
If a vehicle is registered for show category and has a little bit of dirt, it will not be held against it. Ofcourse if a vehicle is there for show, it should be presentable.

Maybe at the last show, but my pics from the previous events have a number of scions

Maybe the reason why there is a decline is the judging- spiderman and his xb, kong and his tc, treyz and his yaris take every show- I mean no disrespect, but why come when the same guys win all the time? There have been some really cool scions and other toyotas that in my opinion are as nice or nicer than the examples above

I was planning on driving up from Syracuse again because it was a blast meeting you guys last year and I've done some nice cosmetic mods last year should I bother? I don't want to drive the 5 Hours and have it be a bust because of scion corporate(which I am familiar with because I too work for a toyota dealer) We still get our money from scion and our events have 0 scions attend all we do is pitch a tent at an scca event. So mabea rockland toyota is asking the wrong person for assistance they should try the toyota reps for help

Bob and Steve also came out as well. Had the Ambient Lifestyle booth set up there in the Scion section. My Yaris looking stock as hell too lol (didnt bother getting judged since it is back to it).

Yup, you got me! That's totally the reason why. I'm sooooo upset about it. That's why I came still so I can get mad .. you're too funny.

Honestly Andy, I can care less about it. So I sold my parts to get the hell out of where I was at ASAP. It's called sacrifice and it's also called life. I made it to the show for support of friends and the show itself. I had a great time there even if my car wasn't judged. My car was still there at my tent in the Scion section.

I think you're just mad at maybe the fact that once I came around and started winning, you didn't get what you thought you deserved .. I don't know.

You make it seem like I'm such a newb to this .. I've been doing this and competing for a long time on and off the track as well as networking with companies for many years so it doesn't phase me like it does to some others.

If you don't want to be apart of setting up the show with your dealership, then tell them you don't. You make yourself look like a fool when you say you want to be involved when you really don't and then come up with some BS that you weren't authorized to do. If you wanted to be involved, then we all would have seen you walk around the show and see what was good instead of hiding in the service area for pretty much the whole time looking out the window. Bob and I waved at you, but no response. I understand that you were working that day as well, but still.

Dude you used to be so chill and into it .. and then .. pulled a 180. That's why some decided to turn on you. You're negativity towards everything now is really lame and fortunately doesn't reflect and/or have much effect on others. It's really a shame ... maybe one day you'll realize it.

I feel bad i didn't come back down but I have been racing just about every weekend between rally-x and auto-x and a 200 Lap enduro at a local dirt track I am running next month (Not in my yaris) Hopefully I can come down next year or mabea even at the fall show if there is one I'm glad to here some yaris's represented. OK ... after dealing with a little bit of traffic yesterday (which was surprisingly unusual for rush hour traffic), had a meeting about July's show at the dealership. There's going to be a lot more in store for this one and over 25 categories. Although the majority will be Scion, Toyota and Lexus, other makes are welcomed as well with categories for non-Toyota makes. As soon as the flyer is designed, a new thread will be made. Lets get the Yaris community back up with a big showing for this one!

I just wanted to say this. Because I want to chalk up everything to a simple misunderstanding. If I post something, I will make the necessary corrections. For SOME odd reason I wasn't getting notifications of the thread. I musta clicked something by accident. No matter. It was a great show, no matter what! What's sad is that this thread spurned a whole bunch of rumors that were not true. Not to mention it ended up affecting the final outcome of the Toyota side's involvement. Still, in NO WAY have our shows been weak! AND I'm very happy for that. It's thanks to you and everyone else that comes out and supports our events. I saw a few things made mention and I would like to address them.
This past show was weak, yes, but we now know why, and I want everyone to know that I will keep on having Toyota categories. And I am working on expanding that further.
Also Yes Last year the Toyota Side had more cars than the Scion side. That is to be expected. I have been told that, even regarding the lower Scion to Toyota ratio, that I still capture more Scions, and cars in general, than most dealerships in the North East region. I'm not going to say that I'm proud of that. I know I worked hard for it. I just want to say I'm happy that WE could achieve that. Thank you everyone who came out! I look forward to seeing you again. To everyone else, please come show your support for your club! It would be great to have you at our show!
