 It seems the Yaris momentum is slowing down. I see very few posts from people waiting for cars to be delivered. I wonder if the Consumer Reports article threw cold water on prospective buyers enthusiasm? If it did folks will be missing out on a great little car. I love mine.

Hmmm it's a possibility, but I hope not... It would be cool if someone could have access to Toyota's sales figures?

Are you F-ing Kidding me... I get mine this weekend, and I can't fucking wait!

I plan on doing soooo many Mods to this car it's ridiculous...

I saw a Red Yaris Liftback at the dinner tonight, parked next to my car... so I took a Pen and Paper and wrote on it...

www.Yarisworld.com

And put the paper under his windshield wiper...

I'm doing my part!

it seems the slightly lower gas prices have eased the rush to more economical vehicles, plus the initial enthusiasm and interest of a new model is probably past for the yaris,

but it probably won't affect it's popularity, it hasn't in canada anyway.

I agree, people forget quick until they are hit again with a huge gas bill. I have some friends who are now paying under 40 to fill up, they feel great until I mention filling for just over 20 and getting energizer bunny style mileage

Most dealerships are ordering more units so there is less waiting and more options for buyers
Our local small town lot had at least 10 sitting out there and they sell 2-3 a week.

They're still selling like crazy here in Toronto... I was filling up today and I had three other Yaris pull into the station... 2 sedan's and one hatch.....

Gas will go up again, It has been low for way too long! Bush needs more money damn it! And when it does the Yaris owners will be the the envy of all the SUV'rs at the pump!

I just checked my dealers new inventory and they have three, two automatic sedans and one lift-back. That's good because when I bought mine they had none.

from what I've read toyota just didn't think the yaris would take off like it did in the usa and else where. So they didn't have plans on making that many the first year. But are scrambling now to fill orders.

I just found out its great on snowy and icy roads. Still got my original tires on and have no trouble driving through snow and on icy roads. Just a very balanced car. It drives better than my 4 wheel drive toyota tacoma in managing bad roads.

I agree with the Gas Price Theory. Everywhere I go in Las Vegas people love my "little car" but I do not see very many on the road.

LOL, when gas hits $4.00 a gallon (and it will), you'll be so sick of seeing Yaris's, Fits, Versas, etc you'll want to puke. You'll be tripping over them.

Bought a yaris 2 weeks ago, was promised one on the ocean, had my options and colours and should be here in GTA within a week. Now 3 weeks later no car, and I'm p.....d. I'm jealous looking here and hearing you guys talk about your cars, The Yaris movement must be strong. When I was looking at dealerships, the don't have any or only a tester!!!!
