59 Yaris petrol Mile Til Empty

Hi

Im new to forum, hopefully i can find some help in this place as i go through the life of my Yaris

ok so i bought a yaris 1.33 TR 6speed 4 months ago.....

Since i bought the car the stop start has really really worked e.g for 1 month the car never did stop start then suddenly started to work last week. Now i know that you have to have the right enviroment etc etc.... i took the car in for repair and they compared my car to another 1.33 that they had as a loan car. The loan car would stop start all the time and mine just didnt do anything.

So my first question is... Has anyone else had this problem before?

Also im getting very rubbish fuel figures - i filled up my tank today and the car is telling me i have 315miles til empty. The second full tank i ever put in the car i got over 450 miles

Can anyone explain this - aver fuel con on the car says its at 41

Mileage is heavily dependent on driving conditions and driver's technique.

Usually when the gas pump shuts off i can still squeeze a couple more liters in the tank which could make a difference if you are measuring your mileage by how much distance you are getting per tank,there are more precise ways to measure gas consumption.
