New to this, just bought my Yaris 2010.

I want to start to mod my new yaris. Its meteorite metalic, 5dr. I want to start with a carbon fibre hood, and new wheels.

Wheels are gonna take me some time, because I have no clue what I like yet..

but: Any tips on where I can find a carbon fibre hood to fit a 2010 yaris hatchback?

you can look around for a seibon hood...pretty common find in ebay. from a fellow MM 5dr yaris, the carbon hood makes alot of difference to the car!

Don't worry about model year when searching. The hoods have not changed since 2006.

are you sure the hoods didn't change with the headlight and front bumper change in 09?

The hood hasn't changed. I would recommend the VIS vented carbon fibre hood, cali yaris sells it over at micro image.

If I go to the Toyota site, and then pick the 5 door liftback, the color
choice does have the Meteorite Metallic.

Ah, I checked Toyota, but it defaults to showing colors for the Sedan. Different color choices for the HB's. Go figure.

hey thanks for the welcome, spent the day trying to install a new sub/amp with my Ford mechanic brother, and couldn't figure it out. (but thats for another post which I will soon make..)

thanks for the tips though. and for the record.. not trolling.. the car really is meteorite metallic.. the best colour they make it in. :)

The '09 5 door we had was like a chameleon . Sometimes silver , medium grey or a light greyish green . Miss that car :brokenheart: .
