how to install aftermarket alarm on a yaris

been looking for a thread but cant find it.. i got an rs that comes with keyless entry stock.. now i bought an after market but dont know where to start..do i replace the stock module or can i reuse the wires...? im lost. help!

OK let's get everything clear here. I understand that you have a remote started with a built in keyless entry right? When you say: "now i bought an after market but dont know where to start" What is that you bought? Is it a keyless entry module?

Anyway if your stock keyless entry is not fried you can use them you just have to look for a couple of wires. It would also be wise to have either a probe or a volt meter for this.

i have the stock canadian keyless but no remote started with it..want to add aftermarket alarm on it..thanks..all threads is a little confusing..i dont know if i need to do a bypass..

You don't need a by pass sice the after market alarm/rs will only send ground signal to your existing keyless system.
