I just received my LED Back Up light bulbs in the mail today.

Alright...it is raining out so the pics I took were in the garage however I did get the bulbs installed. I purchased them from imageracing23 on eBay for 10 bucks. They are WHITE 9 LED REVERSE BACK UP BULBS. I think that the result from both outside of the car as well as inside of the car are much improved especially through the tint when inside. Once again before you decide to say anything about the quality of the pics I am limited to my Blackberry for now.

Are they really bright when backing up? Some ppl actually though of using 50w halogens for their reverse light
I fing the OEM's a little dim to actually use them to see

I suppose that it is all personal preference. I find them to be much brighter than stock that is for sure and the light of course it much cleaner. They are 9 LED bulbs however I would prefer 20's or 24's if I can find them however for now with how cheap they are they will get me by much better than stock. I would wager that they are brighter when it isn't raining as well since that adds to the mix.

these do not light up the view any better than stock IMHO

the color temp is whiter yes, but brightness is about equal

I have some and spent some time comparing and all it really
gets me is possible 'forever' bulb, but doesn't improve brightness
-----
backup lights are not really meant to help the driver see they are
to let others know you are backing up, which is why they suck so bad

I had the same LEDs for reversing, and they looked great at night or in cloudy conditions, but were otherwise awful and didn't do the job near as well as the stock bulbs did. The light is in too direct a beam, and since most people look at a car from an angle while it's reversing, I was almost hit several times. Didn't take long to call it a failure.

Out they came, but they now live in my map lights location. Suppose they do the job there.

can't be talking about the ones I installed. you can see these from any angle
and they are brighter than stock ever was. from directly behind they are blinding, which is no big deal because the use cycle is short (just me backing up at night)

I have no complaints about the ones I installed and it has been a year and a half in all weather types. Most people that view them while I am "driving" have only complained that they are a bit bright "head on" but other than that even with my window tint they seem to work well for the price all things considered. I have a guy that lives down the street from me that actually installed a white LED light bar just below the bumper of his Kia and that works out really well for him for better viewing while being low enough that it doesn't bother other drivers. There are more than one school of thought to what reverse lights are actually "supposed" to do apparently.

What about if the sun is shining on the back of the car while you are reversing? That was almost always the instance when I was reversing and somebody else would honk and claim I should "fix my back up lights".

you need to understand how bright a cree 5w emitter is. trust me... it is overkill.
you can see this in daytime as easily as a car headlight

For the record, I wasn't referring to the ones you posted. I was referring to the ones posted in the OP. They look exactly like the ones that I had. 9-LED cool whites. Mine were so awesome at being back up lights, they're now in the map lights instead.
