got a really low sensitivity rating which means more power robbing...
but overall, it's nice. what's the price? i can get punch power for around 200 a pair, as far as im concerned that's about the best deal...btw, that's a 10" deal.
all i can say is try it and if you dont like it, upgrade or deal w it. with enough power and engineering, any sub can sound good. i had a guy in my neighborhood that made custom boxes and used 20/pair subs and a $30 amp and matched the world record in 98 with 6 10" subs and 3 amps. it's all box design...sound is just movement of air. so, spend money in a correctly built box, and the rest is just there.

I realize I am not tlnlnky, but I would use that sub.
( if I could get a good deal on it. )
Looks like a decent sub, as long as the price is right.
( right price = under $80 )

Yeah, at that price, it's a close call.
For that price, I would grab last years Alpine Type-R from Crutchfield with FREE shipping.
But that's just me.

my box modeling software is fubar all of a sudden.... the specs look decent, I like the Qts value, the X-max seems decent, tho I suspect it's not a true x-max measurement, and really just a measurement of the coil & gap... which isn't as accurate, so the x-max value might be slightly inflated. Looks like it'd work decent in either ported or sealed designs.
I'm not a fan of big pieces of plastic on subs... i'm really a fan of thick paper pulp cones & foam surrounds. Boring as they may look, their performance is top notch, and plastics and metals have weird resonances.
