2010 Yaris lift

HELP!!!!! I am trying to find a way to lift a Yaris, and I can't find where I saw them last. I saw one kit (springs) that lifted the car about 0.7". I have a customer who lives on a rough road, and it snows there a lot. She has a truck right now, and wants to buy a Yaris to help improve on fuel costs. Told her about Rav4's, but she is pretty insistant on a Yaris. Does anyone know where I could get a 1.5" to 2.0" lift for a Yaris? I know how to do all the work myself, and there is even a shop that is willing to help out (just to try it) but we can't find the lift kit to do it. They said they can do a frame lift, but that won't help the car get over snow and rocks. Also, as far as rims and tires, the stock rims are too thin to put balloon tires on, so we would probably move up to 16"rims at 7.5" or 8" wide. What would be a deacent tire to put on those? What IS the max size you could do? Any help would be appreciated, and if enough info is given, I could even spot you (pay) for your efforts. Thank you.

I have OEM springs that ride STUPIDLY high. My car was originally form Montreal so I'm guessing this was the help clearance for snow. Let me get you a picture.

Here, take a look. These are all on the springs that came with my car. I still have em if you want them but it'll cost to ship.

Lifted up wheels should be able to go up to 7.5 inches wide (just hazarding a guess) but you could always get spacers?

Thank you for the help. How much lift would you say there was with these springs? Also, shipping would be to Pueblo, CO 81008. What would that cost me?

I'm not sure. I don't have a stock yaris to compare to anymore, but for reference the alloys in the pictures are 15". The steeleis are 14". As for shipping I'll have to do some measurements.

Cool. As for spacers, if I DO put balloon tires on, it will make the fronts rub during tight cornering. This lady lives in the middle of nowhere, so I have to make sure everything is set up right. I also have to have our mechanics check everything to make sure the toe, camber, and alignment are still right. Not to mention making sure the drive shafts can handle the change, and making sure it doesn't void too much warranty. The things I do for customers, I tell you.... again, thanks for the help.

I made my own custom 4" lift kit for Crashy. I needed it to offset for the compression of the front springs due to the weight of the plow and plow frame.

I saw your lift, What if you hit a solid bump at speed.
I can see the strut towers bending at your lift kit plates.

I think the struts would punch through the top of the tower before anything would bend. I used 1/4" thick plate for the plates and I bored solid round bar stock to make the spacers.

Betrivent, your car just looks new in those pictures. Every yaris has a fist full of wheel gap or more off the lot.

@OP. By the time you get a proper lift, tires, wheels you'll be approaching the price of a base rav4. The car will most likely handle like complete crap on road and will only be slightly manageable off road. I'm sure the yaris a-arms will hold up forever going off road every day too. Oh, kiss the mpg your chasing goodbye too - see heavy ass tires and wheels, not to mention spinning tires at WOT trying to get your FWD vehicle unstuck.

When you ignore this advice, be sure to hook up a trailer too. You'll save even more gas not having to use that useless bed in the back of the pickup.

Man, people want to use the yaris for everything but what it was intended.

The designers of Yaris lacked imagination as to the range of utility of the vehicle. Don't want any crappy RAV4 SUV nonsense just to get some decent clearance so the underside doesn't get damaged. Somehow it seems in Japan they don't have the usual rocks, 2x4s, trash, old engine blocks, roadkill carcasses, etc on their roads. (not to mention a kitty-cat that once tried to run under my car)

Eric, how did your project turn out? Were you able to make the conversion? I'm interested in doing the same thing to my '09 LB. Any info, such as part numbers/tire sizes, would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Every Yaris appears to have an 'off-road set-up' in stock form with it's ridiculously huge fender gap. However, underneath the chassis is not so very high.
