JDM Center Console Box + Manual Transmission

For you owners out there with the JDM Center Console box, I would like your opinion on how it affects the comfort level while driving (a manual) Yaris?

I would like the extra storage but I'm concerned that it won't be comfortable with a stick shift..

I had it before I put in the bucket seats, it's too low to be uncomfortable, maybe if you have a short shifter, but even then I doubt it would get in the way.

I have the auto, but I can't imagine the JDM console getting in the way of shifting. It is too low and set too far back.
