View Full Version : Will 4 door liftback bumpers fit the 2 door liftback?

I know this is really early to be asking this but will aero kits that fit the 4 door liftback vitz from Japan fit the Yaris that we get in the US? I saw these pics and think it looks awesome. These are factory aero parts I think. :iono: I love it! :wub:

That's the factory Vitz RS bumpers for Japan, the front and rear lips in the second two pictures is an add on to the factory Vitz RS bumpers...

Gorgeous bumper. Bonus points for it being a factory bumper.. that means it'll be good quality and have perfect fit.

The bumpers do fit the normal yaris. The question now is finding certain part cause some of them are TRD and are no longer available thru japan TRD (discontinued). But my understanding is that most of these bumpers are illegal in the US, or so I was told. I have a 1.8 RS from japan, and I am in the process of taking it back to the US in a year, and I was told i needed to change bumpers.

I cant imagine why those bumper covers wouldn't be allowed here. They aren't structural. If you don't want to take a chance then I'll buy em.

Apparently is the shape of them. The bumpers in the USA are larger apparently. I was told i could change them back to the original after the car is all done and registered in the state. But yeah, still checking on that!.

yes they will fit as long as you get an 06-08 model judging by pics
if you have an 09-10 model you will need to change head & tail lights assy for they are different from the 06-08 models
